About the School

A student can arrange with the Academy to be met at the airport on arrival and brought to their host family by taxi or mini-bus. Alternatively, there is good public transport from all airports to Bournemouth. Your host family will greet and familiarize you with your immediate environment, they will show you how to get to the academy. On your first day at school you will have a welcome introduction then a test to enable us to assess your level as accurately as possible. This is followed by a talk, which will help you make the most of your stay and to enjoy fully the warm family atmosphere of the Westbourne Academy.

Use of computers in our computer room is available to all Westbourne Academy students. This facility offers students the chance to use CD Roms and other materials, which will enable them to practise listening, reading, and writing.
